101 STRATEGY PARTNERS, LLC

 

Mr. Johnson began to assemble a group of friends and colleagues over 10 years ago into what became 101 Strategy Partners.  The firm is a bipartisan, “virtual” public affairs consortium that provides high level consulting and other specialized services.  These services include crisis communications, media production and outreach, strategic counsel, research, polling and survey analysis, public relations, and public affairs advocacy.

 

Members and affiliated professionals of 101 are located in Washington, Philadelphia, Chicago, South Carolina, Florida, and San Francisco.

 

CONGRESSIONAL MEDIA GROUP, LLC

 

Mr. Johnson is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Congressional Media Group, LLC (CMG).

 

Congressional Media Group provides television production support for Comcast/NBC Universal’s public affairs programming originating from the Comcast television broadcast facility located on Capitol Hill.  The CMG team also produces videos for use in media outreach, internal and external communications, and for special events.  

 

WASHINGTON POLITICAL FILM FOUNDATION

 

The Washington Political Film Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) public charity with an educational mission.  The primary goal of the Foundation is to promote respect and civility for different viewpoints on political issues.  Its focus is on college and university students throughout America.  Its guiding principles are based on the free expression and exchange of ideas, respect for other opinions, and civility in discourse.

 

PUBLIC SERVICE AND POLITICAL EXPERIENCE

 

Lee served as Leadership Chief of Staff of the United States Senate Republican Conference under Conference Chairman Connie Mack of Florida and Conference Vice Chair Kay Bailey Hutchison of Texas.  He was responsible for the communications and media assets, as well as message development and coordination, for the Conference in the 106th and 107th Congresses.

He served as Chief of Staff to Representative E. Clay Shaw, Jr. of Florida and as Legal Counsel for J. Kenneth Robinson of Virginia, and was a member of the Republican National Committee’s Political and Finance Divisions during the election cycles of 1979-1980, 1982, and 1984.

PROFESSIONAL AND EDUCATIONAL AFFILIATIONS

 

He held senior management positions with Burson-Marsteller as Managing Director of the Grassroots Division; and Golin/Harris, where he held the title of Senior Vice President of Public Affairs.

A graduate of Vanderbilt University/BA, 1975 and the University of Alabama School of Law/JD, 1978, he is admitted to the bar of the United States Supreme Court, the State of Florida, and the District of Columbia.
